chicken cutlet |
Ingredients
- chicken pieces - 5or6 (medium sized)
- onion - 2 finely chopped
- potato - 1 boiled and mashed
- ginger - 1 tspn finely chopped
- garlic - 1 tspn finely chopped
- green chillies - 2nos finely chopped
- coriander leaves 1/2 tblspn finely chopped
- red chilli powder - 2 tspn
- turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
- pepper powder - 1 tspn
- garam masala - 1/2 tspn
- bread crumbs
- egg - 1
- salt
- oil
Method
Cook & mince the chicken.
Saute onion till it becomes soft.
Add chopped ginger,garlic, green chillies. Add minced chicken. Mix well.
Add salt, pepper powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder & garam masala.
Stir for 5 minutes & remove from gas.
Allow the mixture to cool.
Once it is cooled add mashed potatoes, coriander leaves & mix well.
Make the mixture into desired shapes.
Beat the egg. Dip each cutlet in egg & roll with bread crumbs.
Deep fry in oil.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
